About Us

                                                    OUR FOUNDATION
The Lake Pleasant-Sacandaga Foundation was organized in 1994 to raise funds through tax deductible donations for projects which accomplish the purpose of the Lake Pleasant-
Sacandaga Association and qualifies for tax treatment under 501© of the Federal Tax Code
The Foundation is financed through separate contributions and covers the costs of special projects outside the funding capability of the LPSA.  The Foundation funds may not be used for any political function or purpose such as lobbying.  It’s strength comes in the form of a tax break for donors while providing funding for special projects, such as the Lake Steward program, the Pathway, and several beautification and other local initiatives..
